The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is a women’s service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, patriotism, and honoring the patriots of the Revolutionary War.
The Duxbury Chapter NSDAR was founded in 1954 by women looking to promote the goals of patriotism, history, and education – serving the South Shore communities in the tradition of DAR motto of “God, Home and Country.”
Our chapter is growing and faithful to the tenets of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. There are many opportunities to be involved on the local, state, and national level. We strive to offer programs which are enriching and fun.
We are proud of our heritage and founding fathers and mothers contributions to the formation of the country we know and love today, not to mention the true friendships made in the chapter.
